Broad-billed parrot (Lophopsittacus mauritianus), seen here in a 2023 stamp, is an extinct species of parrot endemic to Mauritius. It became extinct in the late 17th century due to the introduction of invasive animals and deforestation. It exact colour is unknown. Its head was characteristicaly large in comparison to its body.
