The common reed warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus), here on a stamp issued in 2015, can be found in most of Europe and areas of Asia and Africa. Some populations are migratory. It has ten subspecies. It feeds primarily on insects, spiders and to a lesser extend small snails. It also eats berries, seeds and other plant material.
