Issued by Croatia in 2011, the middle stamp shows Eleonora's falcon (Falco eleonorae). I have written about this species in the past.

Years ago, I showed a cover from Croatia with two stamps featuring the little tern (Sterna albifrons). Here is the other half of the set showing the same species.

In 2021 Croatia issued a set of two stamps featuring the white-winged woodpecker (Dendrocopos leucopterus) and the middle spotted woodpecker (Dendrocoptes medius). The first species can be found in Asia while the second one primarily in Europe.

The stamp set is a joint issue with Kyrgyzstan.

Hello everyone, for my first post in December I chose a WWF cover from Croatia. The stamps used for postage were issued in 2006 and they are a part of a set of four. The whole set is devoted in Little Tern (Sterna albifrons) which I presented in a previous post. Thank you Dragan for the cover.
