Hello everyone,  I am sorry for my long absence but lack of time prevented me from updating my blog.  Moreover, I managed to break my scanner so at the moment I only have very few covers on my laptop that I haven't already uploaded here.

I bought this cover from Ebay.  It was mailed from Taiwan to Colombia.  The stamp was issued in 1983 and it comes from a set of two.

Grey-faced Buzzard (Butastur indicus): It is a bird of prey found in Asia .  It is a medium-sized raptor which preys on large insects, lizards, frogs and small mammals.  This species is migratory.

A nice hand-canceled cover from Taiwan. The stamp was issued in 2008. Grey Treepie or Himalayan Treepie (Dendrocitta formosae) lives in Asia in both forests and human habitation and it has several subspecies. It eats a variety of food: insects and other invertebrates, nectar, berries, grain, seeds, nestlings, eggs and small reptiles.

Finishing with this bird I would like to show you this non official maximum card. Thanks to a friend in Taiwan who took it to the post office for a postmark and then send it back to me.
This is the cover with the complete set of 2008. Too bad that the 2nd postmark covers the head of the bird on the last stamp.
Formosan Blue Magpie (Urocissa caerulea) is one of my favourite birds. It is endemic in the mountains of Taiwan.

This FDC was prepared and mailed by James. The m/s was issued in 2008 along with a set of four stamps which I will show on a cover.
