Eurasian hobby (Falco subbuteo) is a small species of falcon. As the name states, it can be found in Europe and Asia. It has two subspecies. The subspecies depicted here, Falco subbuteo subbuteo, is a migratory bird wintering in Africa. It feeds on small birds, small bats and large insects. Moreover, it is used in falconry.

The stamp was issued by Liechtenstein in 2011.
