Welcome to my collection. My topic is birds and I collect mostly covers but I will show you a variety of philatelic material that is part my collection.

In 2013, Bangladesh issued a set of eight stamps about the country's migratory birds and here is half of this set.

The bar-headed goose (Anser indicus) is a central Asian bird that migrates to south Asia for the winter. It has been introduced to some European countries. It happens to be one of the world's highest flying birds. It feeds primarily on plants but it can also consume insects.

The red-crested pochard (Netta rufina) is a large duck species found in areas of Europe, Asia and North Africa. The male has an orange head, red beak and black breast in contrast to the female, which is brown with a paler face colour. Both sexes are depicted on the stamp. They feed on aquatic plants.

The Eurasian curlew (Numenius arquata) is the most widespread species of curlew found in both Europe and Asia. It winters in southern Europe, south Asia and Africa. It has three subspecies. It feeds on small invertebrates. It is a near threatened species.

Finally, the chestnut-winged cuckoo (Clamator coromandus) is found in south Asia. It feeds on large insects, spiders and small fruit.
