The eastern bluebird (Sialia sialis), a migratory thrush, is depicted in this set of 2014 stamps from Bermuda. It is encountered in North and Central America and it is the state bird of both Missouri and New York. It has seven subspecies. The male has brighter colours than the female. Their primary food source are insects, worms, spiders and other invertebrates but they also feed on berries.
