Both stamps belong to a set of four featuring the eagles of Namibia and issued in 2009.
The first stamp shows bateleur (Terathopius ecaudatus), an endangered mid-sized eagle native to sub-Saharan Africa. It hunts small birds, mammals and reptiles but it also eats carrion.
The second stamp features the much larger verreaux's eagle (Aquila verreauxii). It lives in eastern and southern Africa and it has a small range in the Middle East. As depicted here, it primarily preys on rock hyrax (Procavia capensis) but it also feeds on other mammals and birds.
