Thank you Alina! The willow ptarmigan or willow grouse (Lagopus lagopus) can be seen on this 2020 stamp from Belarus. It lives in northern Europe, northern North America and northern Asia. Here it can be seen in its white winter plumage, which during summer is brown in colour. It has fifteen subspecies. It is a herbivorous species though their chicks can be fed with insects as well. It is also Alaska's state bird.
